Prelaunch preview — not yet in effect.

ClubDojo’s operating company has not yet been formed. These documents are available for review; acknowledging this preview does not accept a final contract. Before commercial launch we must publish the formed operator’s identity and postal address, complete the operational and legal review, and issue a new effective version. See the launch status.

01Why the browser stores information

ClubDojo uses cookies and browser storage for sign-in, security, preferences and recovery of unfinished actions. Cookies can be sent with requests to a service. Local storage usually survives closing a tab; session storage belongs to a tab or browsing session and may be restored by your browser.

This notice supplements the Privacy Policy. It describes the application’s uses, not a claim that an inventory of every production provider cookie is complete. The live provider configuration and storage inventory must be checked before the effective launch edition is published.

02Sign-in and security

Session cookies
Let the auth service recognize your signed-in session and protect authenticated actions. Server sessions normally expire after seven days and can be renewed with activity; signing out clears the browser’s session credential. Security caches can expire sooner.
Sign-in helpers
Support provider redirects, verification and the return to your requested page. Local authentication-return markers are valid for up to 25 hours and are removed when used or cleaned up. Stale browser entries can remain until that cleanup runs or you clear storage.
Bot protection
Cloudflare Turnstile processes device/browser signals and may use operational storage to validate protected forms. Its specific behavior depends on the deployed configuration.

Blocking these mechanisms can prevent sign-in, verification or protected actions. Google or Apple sign-in also involves the provider’s site and its own storage practices.

03Preferences

Local storage remembers choices such as your active club, preferred activity and appearance theme. These preferences stay on that browser until replaced, cleared by the application or deleted through browser settings. They are not a promise to synchronize preferences across devices.

04Unfinished payments and safe retries

Session storage can retain a request reference and the details needed to safely retry an unfinished membership, payment or ledger action without making it twice. An administrator’s unfinished credit adjustment can include a member reference, amount, currency and note. This is transaction recovery, not advertising tracking.

Successful completion normally removes the relevant pending record. An uncertain or failed action can remain for recovery until resolved or the session storage is cleared; no universal short expiry is promised. Avoid putting unnecessary sensitive information in notes, especially on a shared computer.

Clearing browser storage does not cancel a charge, erase the server’s ledger or resolve an uncertain transaction. Check the account or club ledger before starting the action again, and contact support if its outcome is unclear.

05Payments, autocomplete and other providers

Stripe payment elements and hosted Stripe or Polar checkout may use their own storage and technical signals for payment, fraud prevention and security. Google Places receives the location text you enter when its autocomplete is used. Those services have their own notices and controls; this page does not describe their cookies as ClubDojo preferences.

ClubDojo does not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies for cross-site advertising. If optional tracking is introduced, we must update this notice and provide any required choice before enabling it. Application error reporting, when enabled, is separately described in the Privacy Policy.

06Your controls

You can inspect, block or clear cookies and local or session storage in your browser settings. Sign out on shared devices. Clearing storage can sign you out, reset preferences and remove unfinished-action recovery information, so first check transactions whose outcome you do not know.

Browser Do Not Track does not change ClubDojo’s current processing. We do not sell personal information or conduct cross-context behavioral advertising; a signal is not needed to stop a use we do not make. For other privacy choices or a concern about storage, contact [email protected].
